Mixed fortunes for Magic Millions feature favourites

Barriers have been finalised for the $3 million Magic Millions 2YO Classic and the $3 million Magic Millions 3YO Guineas following the official draw on the Gold Coast.

The 2YO Classic favourite Warwoven, trained by Bjorn Baker and to be ridden by Rachel King, has drawn a favourable barrier in gate six for the 1200-metre feature.

Baker is chasing back-to-back Classic victories after O’Ole’s win in 2025.

In the 3YO Guineas, Ninja has drawn the widest of the 17 runners, prompting bookmakers to ease the Michael Freedman-trained runner slightly in updated betting.

Nevertheless, Ninja, a three-time winner from five starts, remains an odds-on chance.

Both races form the centrepiece of Saturday’s Magic Millions raceday, the richest in Queensland racing.
