Trainer Andrew Noblet is expanding his stable’s Victorian footprint to include a metropolitan presence.

A Group 1-winning trainer, Noblet has been allocated 15 boxes at Flemington in time for this year’s spring carnival.

Noblet’s Flemington set-up will complement an existing base at Ballarat from where he has trained Silent Sedition, Super Cash, Foxy Frida, and Sistine Angel to a high level of success.

“The opportunity to have a permanent base at the iconic Flemington racecourse fulfils a lifelong ambition for me,” Noblet said.

“Having previously trained from the Morphettville (as foreman for Leon Macdonald) and Caulfield racetracks, I set up my current base at Ballarat in 2020.

“It is humbling to be known as a hands-on trainer who has an affinity with fillies and mares, but we now want to expand upon that success.

“We can now add to the systems that developed Group 1 mares to accommodate for precocious juveniles.”

Noblet has trained more than 380 winners, with Silent Sedition’s Group 1 William Reid Stakes victory in 2017 a career highlight.
