Arabian Summer to Inglis Chairman’s Sale
Multiple Group‑performed mare Arabian Summer is the latest standout offering announced for this year’s Inglis Chairman’s Sale.
A high‑class performer on the track and an elite breeding prospect, Arabian Summer shapes as one of the most attractive racing and broodmare prospects to be offered in the Southern Hemisphere this year.
She has earned more than $1.5 million from just 15 career starts, recording five wins and five placings.
Arabian Summer finished runner‑up at her first two starts before winning four of her next five races at two, including the $1 million Magic Millions National 2YO Classic. Her only unplaced juvenile effort came in the $3.5 million Magic Millions 2YO Classic.
She trained on strongly to win the Peter Le Grand Stakes at three and later placed at the highest level, finishing a close third in the Moir Stakes.
Co‑trainer Tony McEvoy described the mare as “a delight to train”.
“She’s far from done as a race mare and has been incredibly competitive at Group level,” McEvoy said. “She’s talented, tough and very professional.”
Arabian Summer will be offered through the Segenhoe draft at Riverside on Thursday, May 7. Entries for the sale close on Friday.
