The three-quarter brother to Golden Sixty and the second foal from American Grade 1 winner Oleksandra are among the progeny of Australian mares in Book 1 of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale, to start next Monday.

Hong Kong champion Golden Sixty’s half-sister, Golden Sister, who is by Capitalist, has her first foal going through the sale by Medaglia D’Oro. That makes Hip No.345 in the sale a three-quarter brother to the world ‘s highest earning racehorse.
He will be offered by Eaton Sales on behalf of his breeder Winchester Farm, who purchased Golden Sister for $425,000 at the 2021 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale. She was unraced with this yearling one of two colts she has produced to Medaglia D’Oro, the second one foaled to southern hemisphere time recently.

Oleksandra, an Australian-bred daughter of Kentucky Derby winner Animal Kingdom, made history with her win in the Jaipur Stakes in 2020, and her second foal, a colt by Life Is Good, is offered by Woods Edge Farm as Hip 60.
That colt, the second foal from the Group 1 winner, was secured for US$350,000 by Cavalier Bloodstock at last year’s Keeneland Breeding Stock Sale. He is the second foal from Oleksandra, with the first a filly by Gun Runner who is yet to race.
The other yearling out of an Australian-bred mare is Hip 127, a colt by American Pharoah out of Sebring mare Social Distancing.

Social Distancing, a half-sister to Group 1-placed The Virginian, was bred by American-owned Mt Brilliant Farm and had five starts for Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott before being exported to America for breeding purposes.
Book 2 contains yearlings out of Australian-bred mares Behind The Queen (Hip 1017 by Uncle Mo) and Catch A Fire (Hip 1041 by Nyquist).
