Key chances in Saturday’s Group 1 features at Caulfield have been served up outside barriers.
In the Underwood Stakes, favourite Sir Delius has drawn the second-outside barrier of 11, while in the Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes, punters picks Angel Capital (13) and Sepals (16) are also drawn wide in the track.
Sir Delius remains a strong favourite for the Underwood where he will be opposed by Buckaroo (barrier eight), Desert Lightning (three) and Moira (four).
The previous two winners of the Underwood, Alligator Blood and Buckaroo, jumped from eight and 10 respectively.
Angel Capital is well supported in the Rupert Clarke, but will need to get across from his awkward alley, which has produced the last two winners of the race, Magic Time (2023) and Kimochi (2024).
Damask Rose has drawn 17, Miss Roumbini, barrier 14, while Another Wil has seven, Here To Shock six and Pinstriped five.
