A collection of some of Australasia’s best broodmares offered at auction this year will go under the hammer at the Inglis Chairman’s Sale and none are more anticipated than Bella Nipotina.

The first mare to win The Everest, the now retired seven-year-old Bella Nipotina, an eight-time stakes winner, will be sold on Thursday night for multiple millions of dollars.

Just how much she sells for is an educated guess, but the fact she is an Everest winner with an additional three Group 1s to her name carries plenty of currency with high-end breeders domestically and possibly also internationally.
