Perth Racing officials are confident its midweek metropolitan meeting at Belmont on Wednesday will go ahead as scheduled.
The club and Racing Wagering Western Australia stewards transferred Saturday's meeting from Belmont to Pinjarra because of heavy rain on Friday and Saturday.
Belmont, which was out of action while remedial work was undertaken on a section of turf at the 150m mark, returned to racing in late July before last Saturday's setback.
However, an eight-race card for Belmont on Wednesday is expected to proceed without issue.
"The track has taken the rain well and is now rated a Soft 6; the forecast for the next few days is largely dry and, assuming there are no material changes to that forecast, we look forward to racing at Belmont Park on Wednesday," they wrote.
"There is some rain expected later on Wednesday and into Thursday, but we then expect a dry and pleasant Friday leading into the weekend and the race meeting scheduled for (this) Saturday."
