Brett Cavanough, who operates one of regional NSW’s most successful stables from his Scone base in the Hunter Valley, has formed a training partnership.

Cavanough, who has trained almost 1200 winners, will have daughter Georgie alongside his name at the forefront of the family business.

The partnership saddled up its first runner at Narromine on Monday.

Cavanough is a five-time leading country trainer in NSW after starting out in Albury before moving to Scone in 2017.

During his time at Albury, Cavanough broke in 800 horses for leading trainer Peter Moody, including unbeaten champion Black Caviar.
