Half Yours draws seven as Kingswood and Knight’s Choice face wide Caulfield Cup gates
Defending champion Half Yours has drawn barrier seven for Saturday’s Caulfield Cup while major rivals Kingswood and Knight’s Choice have drawn barriers 20 and 22 in the 2400-metre Group 1.
Half Yours won last year carrying 52.5kg and now has 57.5kg. Mark Zahra rides him after Jamie Melham chose Blue Door in The Everest.
Ciaron Maher’s Saint George drew barrier two and stablemate Zahrann four. Maher’s other guaranteed runners are Royal Supremacy (eight), Middle Earth (11) and Kings Valley (12).
Enfjaar drew the inside barrier and Treasurethe Moment five, while Wine Dark Sea and Turnbull Stakes winner Cosmic Crusader were allocated 19 and 17 respectively.
The four emergencies are The Euphrates (nine), Juja Kibo (14), Point Of Law (21) and Mr Monaco (three).
