Entain Australia and New Zealand chief executive Dean Shannon has resigned from his position and will depart as of the end of the month.

He becomes the latest, and most high-profile executive to depart the Australian and New Zealand operation of the global giant, which runs the Ladbrokes and Neds brands in Australia and has a long-term agreement in place to operate TAB NZ, as well as the betcha brand in New Zealand.

Long-term wagering executive Andrew Vouris will assume the interim role as CEO.
