An early morning track inspection on Tuesday will decide the fate of three Randwick barrier trials scheduled for the course proper, featuring Golden Slipper winner Marhoona and a host of other potential spring stars.

Marhoona is due to make her first public appearance since winning the Golden Slipper in March after being entered to contest a heat for Group-class horses over 900m.

However, if the course proper is deemed unsuitable, horses will be placed into polytrack track heats.

The barrier trial session has already been impacted by continuing rain in Sydney, with steeple grass heats transferred to the polytrack.

Joining Marhoona among the Group 1-winning contingent entered to trial include Buckaroo, Linebacker, Port Lockroy and Militarize.
