Cyclone impacts Rockhampton race plans

Predicted flooding around Rockhampton has forced Sunday’s scheduled meeting to be moved to Wednesday, January 21.

Flooding due to the impact of Cyclone Koji is expected to impact Rockhampton on Sunday, with the moderate flooding on the Fitzroy River, which is downstream of where the majority of rain has fallen.

Callaghan Park sits on the banks of the river and is expected to be impacted.

Nominations for the meeting have been re-opened  and will close Friday, January 16 at 9am. Acceptances for this meeting will close Monday, January 19 at 9am.
