Extreme Choice colt a star attraction at HTBA Yearling Sale
The catalogue for this year’s Inglis HTBA Yearling Sale is now available online, offering buyers the chance to acquire a yearling by one of the world’s top stallions.
A yearling by Extreme Choice, whose G1 winners-to-runners ratio is one in every 25, will headline the HTBA Sale at Riverside on Sunday, April 19.
The Newgate Farm draft, which includes the Extreme Choice colt, is among 215 yearlings entered for the sale, with additional offerings by stallions including Alabama Express, All Too Hard, Anamoe, Capitalist, Castelvecchio, Cosmic Force, Dundeel, Extreme Warrior, Harry Angel, Hellbent, Home Affairs, Justify, Ole Kirk, So You Think, Star Turn, Stay Inside, Super Seth, Sword Of State, Tassort, Toronado, Trapeze Artist, Written By, and Zousain.
Leading Australian studs such as Widden, Vinery, Newgate, Riversdale, Segenhoe, Amarina, Fernrigg, Glenbeigh, Goodwood, and Kingstar will present the drafts.
The HTBA Sale provides buyers with late-season opportunities to secure yearlings at lower prices than major sales while retaining strong potential for returns, with recent graduates having won more than $80,463,400 in prizemoney.
“There is a broad cross-section of stallions and vendors represented in the catalogue, which is pleasing,” Inglis Bloodstock chief executive Sebastian Hutch said..
Supplementary entries for the HTBA Yearling Sale close at 5pm Friday, April 10, and will be offered at the end of the sale.
