For the third season in row, Fastnet Rock was the leading damsire, and with 23 winners, surpasses the mark of 19 set by his own sire Danehill in 2013/14.

Progeny of his daughters won 31 races in total, led by Pray for Mir, the son of Justify who won the G3 Lion Rock Trophy.

Overall, they won just short of HK$54m in prize money, behind only Per Incanto (HK$59.5m) and Rahy (HK$54.1m), who were represented by Hong Kong’s two dominant horses, Ka Ying Rising and Voyage Bubble.

Exceed And Excel had 17 individual winners as a damsire, while Snitzel and O’Reilly were level in third on 12.

Fastnet Rock had more runners as damsire than any other stallion, with 43, well ahead of O’Reilly and exceed And Excel.

In 2022/23, Fastnet Rock was the leading broodmare sire in terms of winners with 18 and he then had 16 to be top of the damsires in 2023/24.

Fastnet Rock is also on track for back-to-back broodmare sires titles in Australia this season.
