Moving from Australia’s biggest racing ownership club to one of the nation’s biggest and busiest stables seemed a natural progression for Dan Cobby as he seeks a return to a hands-on role within the racing industry.

Cobby will forego the relatively normal business hours – excluding racedays - as ownership and participation manager at Entain, where he played a key role in the Ladbrokes Racing Club, to become the racing manager for Annabel and Rob Archibald, arguably the fastest-growing racing operation in the country.
The job, which starts in June, is a return to stable life for Cobby, having previously worked in a similar role with Chris Waller before his three-year stint with Entain.
