Victoria Derby winner Goldrush Guru will make his first public appearance of a new campaign with an exhibition gallop at Morphettville.
Trained by Andrew Gluyas, Goldrush Guru will ramp up spring carnival preparations with an exhibition between races on Saturday.
The four-year-old will be partnered with promising stablemate Watchme Win.
Goldrush Guru hasn’t raced since finishing sixth in the South Australian Derby during an autumn that had an Australian Guineas placing as a high point.
Watchme Win, a five-year-old sprinter, raced his way through to Group 1 level during the Adelaide carnival when midfield in The Goodwood after winning the Group 3 Hawkes Stakes.
