A few days after Lady Of Camelot's Golden Slipper win, Magic Millions has announced her half-sister will go under the hammer at this year's National Broodmare Sale.
Platinum Jubilee will go through the ring in the race fillies and mares' section of the Gold Coast sale, from May 28 to 30.
By Zoustar, Platinum Jubilee is the second foal from the Fastnet Rock mare Miss Debutante, whose first foal was four-time Group 3 winner Queen Of The Ball, a daughter of I Am Invincible.
Platinum Jubilee is also a Group 3 winner, having won the Gimcrack Stakes at her racetrack debut.
Queen Of The Ball and Platinum Jubilee both ran in the Golden Slipper, the race that Miss Debutante's third foal Lady Of Camelot, who is by Written Tycoon, won last Saturday.
Platinum Jubilee was sold at the Gold Coast Yearling Sale, where she fetched $600,000, and will be offered via the Newgate Farm consignment.
"There's no better bred three-year-old filly to go to market in the southern hemisphere this year than Platinum Jubilee and we must thank her ownership group for the trust placed in Magic Millions to market her to the world," Magic Millions boss Barry Bowditch said.
"Platinum Jubilee's dam Miss Debutante has quickly established her status as one of Australia's finest broodmares with three outstanding Group winners from her three runners to date."
In addition to her wins, Platinum Jubilee was also runner-up to Skirt The Law in the Magic Millions 2YO Classic on the Gold Coast and was second to Golden Slipper runner-up and this year's Newmarket Handicap winner Cylinder in the Group 2 Silver Slipper Stakes.
Platinum Jubilee is the latest high-profile addition to the National Broodmare Sale catalogue, which also includes Savabeel mare Atishu, who will chase a third Group 1 success in Saturday's $3 million Australian Cup at Flemington.
