Leading Brisbane trainer Tony Gollan has been unveiled as one of four new inductees into the Queensland Racing Hall of Fame.

To be held as a part of the Queensland Thoroughbred Awards on October 12, Gollan will be inducted into the Hall of Fame alongside jockey Michael Pelling and Chief De Beers, a fan favourite during his racing career.

A fourth inductee will also be announced at the awards ceremony.

In a career that has netted more than 2000 victories, Gollan is now an eight-time Group 1-winning trainer.

In recent years, he has rewritten the record books in Queensland, setting a benchmark for statewide wins in 2022/23 with 194 victories, as well as a metropolitan record (147) in 2023/24.

In the 2024/25 season, Gollan won his 12th straight metropolitan premierahip, and looks poised to continue his stranglehold on the Jim Atkins Trainer of the Year Award at this year’s ceremony.
