Good Show to join Bairstow after Digital sale
Lightly raced three-year-old Good Show topped the Magic Millions Digital Sale, selling for $37,500 at the close of trading on Wednesday.
The gelded son of Trapeze Artist, placed from two starts for Peters Investments, will join Western Australian trainer Dylan Bairstow after being secured by his team.
“We had a reserve of $5,000 on him hoping he would make $10,000 to $15,000,” Liam Peters said.
“The price he achieved far exceeded our expectations. It’s great to see the tried horse market so strong with these online sales.”
Among other results, Lasqueti Boom, a half-sister to Lasqueti Spirit offered as a breeding prospect, sold for $17,000, while Yarraman Park’s maiden filly Decoy made $12,000.
Entries are open for the next Magic Millions Digital Sale, which closes for submissions on March 25.
“Our next sale, which closes for entries next Wednesday (March 25) will be the last opportunity to sell online until mid-April due to Easter,” Magic Millions head of digital Bryce Bevan said.
“Already confirmed for the next sale are a significant number of unreserved shares that will be offered by Proven Thoroughbreds on behalf of a client.”
