Grossman steps into Tabcorp strategy role
Experienced sports executive David Grossman has started his role as general manager of strategy at Tabcorp.
Grossman confirmed on LinkedIn on Monday that he had departed the Australian Football League after 16 years, the past two as general manager of clubs and scheduling to commence a key role with the wagering giant.
“I am pleased to update that I am starting a new work chapter today, joining the team at Tabcorp as General Manager of Strategy,” he said.
“I finished up at the AFL just before Christmas after a wonderful 15 years working for the biggest sport in the land. I am very grateful for my time at the AFL and especially the opportunity to work alongside so many talented and motivated people both at the AFL and across the AFL clubs, state bodies and partners.”
Grossman was also a director of data provider Champion Data but has stepped away from that position as well.
He will rejoin his former AFL boss Gillon McLachlan, who took over as chief executive of Tabcorp in August 2024.
“This next challenge is going to be exciting as I get to work (once again) under the leadership of Gillon McLachlan and Rob Fraser at Tabcorp where we are taking entertainment to the world,” he said.
