Half-brother to Hong Kong Classic Mile winner set for Easter

A close relation to Hong Kong Classic Mile winner Little Paradise will be offered at the 2026 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale.

Little Paradise produced a stunning performance at Sha Tin on Sunday, coming from near the back of the field to surge past rivals and record a decisive two-length victory.

A son of Toronado, Little Paradise was sold at the 2023 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale by Carramar Park and was purchased for $270,000 by the partnership of Chris McAnulty’s Dullingham operation and Bond Li of Legends Bloodstock.

He is the 47th stakes winner for Swettenham Stud’s Toronado.

Following his Classic Mile triumph, Little Paradise is set to contest the Hong Kong Classic Cup over 1800 metres before targeting the prestigious Hong Kong Derby on March 22, where he is now the short-priced favourite.

A Farnan half-brother to Little Paradise will be among the Carramar Park draft of yearlings at Easter, catalogued as Lot 268, on March 29 and 30.
