Decorum shares headline 286-lot Inglis Digital catalogue

Inglis has opened bidding on its 286-lot September (Late) Digital Sale, with four shares in Golden Eagle aspirant Decorum among 79 racehorse-share offerings.

Each share represents a 2.5 per cent interest in the Michael Freedman-trained four-year-old, who has won four of his six starts. The Snitzel gelding returned with a 1200-metre victory at Randwick on September 5 and is being aimed at the $1.5 million Group 3 Alan Brown Stakes and $10 million Group 1 Golden Eagle.

Decorum is a brother to Group 1 winner and stallion Switzerland. Inglis said its digital platform had previously sold shares in subsequent Group 1 winners including Baraqiel, Benedetta, Callsign Mav, Charm Stone, Light Infantry Man, Private Eye, Private Harry and Port Lockroy.

Group-placed Bated Breath mare Quietness is being offered as a racing and breeding prospect. Trained by John O’Shea and Tom Charlton, she finished second in a Randwick barrier trial last week.

Her family includes champions Notable Speech, Kirklees, Mastery and Magic Artist, along with Group 1 Randwick Guineas winner Linebacker.

The full catalogue comprises 129 racehorses, including 67 race fillies, as well as 79 racehorse shares, 46 broodmares and 20 yearlings. It also contains six two-year-olds and five unraced lots. One breeding right completes the offering.

Among the other racing prospects are Group 3 winner The Three Hundred, who has earned more than $420,000, and Eviction Notice, a Group 2 and Group 3-placed juvenile from the Waterhouse and Bott stable.

The catalogue also includes Adira River, a winning Ghaiyyath daughter of triple Group 1 winner Jameka, and Testament, an unraced Snitzel colt bought for $1.7 million. Tequila Baby is a four-time winner and sister to Group 2 performer Mexico, while Drumfire is a lightly raced Farnan colt who won on debut as a juvenile.

Breeding prospects include Summers End, a half-sister to stakes winner McWoody who is offered with an Alabama Express filly at foot. Yearlings and unnamed two-year-olds by stallions including Snitzel, So You Think, St Mark’s Basilica and State Of Rest also feature.
