The catalogue is 28 lots larger than last year, but four smaller than 2023, with the Sale designed to coincide with the build up to the 2025 The Everest, which is held two days later.

The catalogue features progeny of Zoustar and fellow champion stallions I Am Invincible, Snitzel and Written Tycoon, as well as Toronado, Lord Kanaloa, Per Incanto, The Autumn Sun, Dundeel, Exceed And Excel, Too Darn Hot, Wootton Bassett, Proisir and Shamus Award.

It also includes the progeny of fist-season stallions Aclaim, Acrobat, Captivant, Extreme Warrior, Home Affairs, Noverre, Palace Pier, Pinatubo, Portland Sky, Profiteer, St Mark’s Basilica, Stay Inside, Tiger of Malay and Wild Ruler.

There are two lots out of Group 1-winning mares, Lot 26, a colt by Stay Inside out of Gust Of Wind, who famously defeated Winz, and Lot 177, a colt out of Anabandana by Saxon Warrior.

Lot 60 is Spirit Of Boom half-brother to Epsom winner Ellsberg and Lot 78 is a Toronado half-sister to New Zealand Group 1 victrix Capture By Love.

Breeze ups will be held at Warwick Farm (Sept 29), Taupo (Sept 29) and Wangaratta (Sept 30) ahead of the sale,

The sale has provided almost 800 individual winning graduates since 2016 at an average earning-per-runner of $111,069.

“When it comes to Australian breeze up sales, there is no peer to the Inglis Ready2Race Sale in terms of graduate success, both domestically and internationally so it’s fantastic to be able to present such a well-credentialled bunch of 2YOs to the buying bench in October,” Inglis Bloodstock CEO Sebastian Hutch said.

“We have an outstanding group of preparers and consignors engaged in the sale, the majority of whom have been planning their drafts for this sale since last year’s very successful sale.

“Last year was the best group of horses we have ever had for this sale, but this year’s group is a further progression on them, both in terms of physique and profile.

“The domestic sire power catalogued truly is incredible for a 2YO Sale in this part of the world and of the top 20 active Australasian stallions in Hong Kong last season, 17 have offspring in this year’s catalogue.”
