Interstate preparation on cards for Ace High mare She’s A Hustler
Progressive staying mare She’s A Hustler is being set for a late autumn and winter interstate campaign.
Trained in Victoria by Grahame Begg, the last-start Sandown Classic winner has been in the paddock since her late November victory at Caulfield at Group 2 level.
Since then, the five-year-old Ace High mare’s trainer has been mulling her next preparation, with Begg indicating that the Group 1 Queen Of The Turf Stakes at Randwick in mid-April as a possible starting point.
From there, all going well, the lightly raced She’s A Hustler is likely head to Queensland for the Hollindale Stakes at the Gold Coast, the Doomben Cup and the Q22.
She’s A Hustler, who had one start in New Zealand as a three-year-old for trainers Roger James and Robert Wellwood before joining Begg’s stable, has won seven of her 11 starts.
