South Australian jockey Maggie Collett, who has only recently graduated to the senior riding ranks, will add another dimension to her racing career at Morphettville.
Collett will have her first runner as a trainer when Just Like Lisa contests a 1200m race on Saturday.
Just Like Lisa has been trained by her partner Justin Pickering, compiling a useful record in South Australia.
Collett and Pickering operate from the same Callington property and utilise the facilities at Murray Bridge.
"I've kind of had it in the back of my mind that once I came out of my time (as an apprentice) I wanted to pursue training," Collett told Racing SA.
"We've got a big farm here and I've always had a lot to say with (Justin) and, while we mutually agree on most things, this was kind of a natural progression for me to take out my dual licence."
Just Like Lisa will be one of four Morphettville rides for Collett.
