Magic Millions catalogues 125 for 2026 Tasmanian Yearling Sale

The 2026 Magic Millions Tasmanian Yearling Sale has been released with 125 yearlings to be offered for the one-day sale on February 23 at Quercus Park, Carrick.

The line‑up includes progeny of Artorius, Brutal, Capitalist, Earthlight, Extreme Warrior, Hanseatic, Home Affairs, Nicconi, Paulele, Pinatubo, Shamus Award, Stay Inside and Tiger of Malay, as well as local sires Needs Further, Alpine Eagle and Stratosphere.

“I have enjoyed working with the breeders in Tasmania who have really got behind the sale and supported it like never before,” Magic Millions Managing Director Barry Bowditch said.

“We have a great line up of yearlings – a number of significant lots by high class stallions – buyers will be impressed.”

Bowditch highlighted the sale’s track record of producing black‑type performers across Tasmania, the mainland and internationally.

“Recently the sale has done a remarkable job with a number of good winners in Hong Kong led by Bundle Award,” he noted.

Among the headline lots is a three‑quarter sister to Mystic Journey as well as relations to Still a Star, I’ll Have a Bit, Tango’s Daughter, Durazzo and Yum.
