Dr Simone McColgan has departed her role at Racing NSW and has been appointed Chief Veterinary Officer at Racing SA, as the competition for senior vets heats up between the states.

McColgan was previously a veterinarian in the welfare and integrity department at Racing NSW for two years and also worked as a raceday veterinarian for Racing NSW since 2020.

It was confirmed this week that she had begun her role at Racing SA at The Goodwood meeting on May 11.
