Experienced thoroughbred industry professional Ryan McEvoy has joined the board of Thoroughbred Breeders Victoria.
The general manager of bloodstock at Rosemont Stud, McEvoy brings a wealth of knowledge to the TBV board having worked at Widden Stud before joining Nigel Austin's and Anthony Mithen's breeding and racing operation near Geelong in 2020.
"The TBV board consists of some outstanding individuals who I know are strong, passionate advocates in promoting the Victorian breeding industry, supporting breeders and having meaningful collaboration with stakeholders," McEvoy said.
"I’m excited to be able to contribute ideas and add to their ongoing discussions which hopefully lead to solutions that have a practical and positive impact for breeders within the state."
TBV's board is led by president Peter Murray, who this week also joined the Victoria Racing Club (VRC) board.
