Melbourne Racing Club members will enjoy reciprocal rights to some of the United Kingdom’s most famous racecourses under a new arrangement.

The UK’s The Jockey Club and the MRC have partnered to provide club members with access to meetings conducted at venues such as Epsom, Newmarket, Sandown, Haydock and iconic jumps venues Cheltenham and Aintree.

“This is a landmark partnership that opens up the very best of international racing to our members,” MRC executive chairman John Kanga said.

“We’re proud to align with The Jockey Club to deliver premium access to historic venues and world-class racing – further enhancing the benefits of MRC membership and celebrating the truly global nature of our sport.”

The winners of The Jockey Club-conducted Group 2 races the Princess Of Wales’s Stakes and the Jockey Club Stakes receive ballot exemption into the Group 1 Caulfield Cup.
