After three decades training out of the NSW Northern Rivers, David McColm will launch a new phase of his career when stable star Far Too Easy contests the Glasshouse Handicap at the Sunshine Coast.

There has never been a toll for crossing the NSW-Queensland border, but that doesn’t mean David McColm hasn’t paid a price for traversing state lines.
McColm is the latest addition to the growing Gold Coast training ranks after moving in less than two weeks ago.
Leaving Murwillumbah in the NSW Northern Rivers region, McColm’s decision comes with a short-term cost that he expects can be offset by a vision that his new home will one day be an “epicentre” for Queensland racing.
