The ATC Foundation has called on registered charities aligned with the NSW thoroughbred industry along with community organisations to apply for funding from Australian Turf Club’s charitable arm.
It will be the ninth round of grants offered by the ATC Foundation since its inception in 2018.
The latest round of funding, totalling $150,000, will bring to almost $2 million distributed to more than 70 charitable organisations and racing participants.
Funds are raised through official merchandise sales, on-course fundraising events such as the Racing for Good Charity Raceday, saddle cloth auctions and the generosity of ATC members.
Applications will close on Friday, August 29.
ATC Foundation Chair, Angela Belle McSweeney said the Foundation was focused on making real changes and a difference in people’s lives.
“These grants are central to our continued commitment to support our racing industry across NSW and also charitable organisations," Ms McSweeney said.
“The funding plays a critical role in creating positive, lasting impacts in local communities and we are thrilled to join with programs at organisations around our venues.”
