Promising filly Rohesia has cleared maiden ranks with a win for nostalgia buffs at Geelong.
Carrying the silks that belonged to Betty Hayes - the matriarch of the Lindsay Park dynasty - and carried by the champion Dulcify, Rohesia scored a three-quarter-of-a-length win over 1200m.
The three-year-old became Rosemont Stud resident Hanseatic’s second winner in Victoria this week after the debut victory of Humble Trader at Sandown on Wednesday.
Rohesia was placed at restricted Listed level as a two-year-old when runner-up to smart Sydney filly Within The Law in the $500,000 Inglis Banner at Flemington.
She completed her juvenile term when sixth in the $1 million VOBIS Showdown at Caulfield in March.
Rohesia was a $150,000 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale purchase from Rosemont for Lindsay Park Racing and runs for an all-female syndicate.

“She's been a fantastic horse for them, albeit she hasn't won (before today),” co-trainer Ben Hayes said.
“She picked up the $200,000 Inglis Pink Bonus in the spring and then ran a great race in the Showdown.
“She's always had little niggling injury issues, so it was so nice to get her maiden out of the way today so she can pick up focus and it’s onwards and upwards now.”
Rohesia was the first leg of a Geelong double for Lindsay Park with the stable’s first runner for Godolphin being a winning one as Kermadec gelding Saxon Spot delivered in a tight finish.
