Rosehill meeting could be delayed due to extreme heat
Racing NSW is making contingency plans for Saturday’s metropolitan meeting at Rosehill because of forecast extreme temperatures.
The regulator announced on Monday that this weekend’s 10-race card could be pushed back by 24 hours to Sunday if the predicted 41-degree temperatures look like materalising.
Racing NSW said a decision as to whether the Rosehill meeting proceeds as scheduled will be made prior to acceptances, which are due on Wednesday morning.
There were 191 nominations taken for the card on Monday.
