South Australian apprentice Rachael Kraemer remains in stable condition following surgery as a result of injuries sustained in a fall.

Kraemer was flown to Royal Adelaide Hospital on Wednesday after a riding accident on a private property near Murray Bridge.

“She is resting comfortably and receiving exemplary medical care,” a statement released by her family and Racing SA said.

“We are optimistic about Rachael’s recovery and will continue to monitor her progress closely.”

Apprenticed to trainer John Hickmott, Kraemer made her debut in the saddle at Quorn on August 16 before riding at Strathalbyn last week.
