Sally Susman to join Flutter’s board
Global wagering company Flutter has appointed corporate affairs executive Sally Susman to its board, with the former Pfizer senior leader set to join as a Non‑Executive Director from May 29 next year.
Susman has held senior roles at major global companies including American Express and Estée Lauder, and since 2007 has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Pfizer. Her remit there included advising the CEO and sitting on the pharmaceutical giant’s executive committee.
Flutter said Susman will join the board as an Independent Director in line with New York Stock Exchange listing requirements.
She is expected to bring extensive experience in corporate strategy, governance and stakeholder engagement to the gambling group, which continues to expand its international footprint.
“We are delighted to welcome Sally as a Non‑Executive Director,” Flutter chair John Bryant said. “Sally’s appointment is in line with our Board renewal program having regard to the scale, geographic breadth and growth of the business.”
Susman, who also serves as a Non‑Executive Director at UL Solutions, has no direct gambling industry background.
Her appointment will take effect following Flutter’s Annual General Meeting in May.
Flutter owns many of the world’s biggest wagering brands, including market leader Sportsbet in Australia.
