Sportsbet has signed on as Thoroughbred Breeders Victoria's new wagering partner, it was confirmed on Friday.
TBV chief executive Carrie Hu says the industry body plans to leverage Sportsbet's profile to help promote the breeding sector within the state.
"Their involvement will help strengthen our industry’s visibility among both punters and the wider public," Hu said.
Sportsbet's head of industry – commercial and partnerships Damian Ryan said the bookmaker was proud to support TBV.
“As home to some of Australia’s most esteemed farms and stallions, Victoria plays a pivotal role in the success of thoroughbred racing and breeding in this country . We look forward to collaborating with TBV to foster continued growth across the sector," Ryan said.
Victorian stud farms will introduce a number of first season stallions in 2025 including Group 1 winner Schwarz, Growing Empire and Celestial Legend.
