Trainer Michael Hawkes is keeping an open book for the immediate spring plans for Group 1-winning colt Devil Night.
Last season's Blue Diamond winner, Devil Night ran fifth first-up in last Saturday's Group 3 San Domenico won by Raging Force.
Despite the unplaced effort from the Yulong-owned son of Extreme Choice, Hawkes says he "couldn't be happier with his run".
"He may be looking for a little bit further. We've got our options open with him, but he's come through his race really good," Hawkes told Racing.com.
"There's Manikatos, there's Coolmores, there's Run To The Roses, there's Golden Roses (for him).
"With these sorts of horses everything is on the table, but he's relaxing all the time. He's actually relaxed again this time, which we saw on Saturday, so it is encouraging because if he can relax that little bit, then hopefully he can get a bit further, which is good. So, we're just keeping that option open."
Stablemate Nepotism, who won the Group 1 Champagne Stakes at Randwick in the autumn, had his second barrier trial of his preparation at Randwick on Tuesday.
The Brutal colt is expected to resume in the Group 2 Run To The Rose on Saturday week.
