Two more wagering brands have joined the bookmaking ranks, with both Betdragon and app-only provider XBet launching on the Punterstech platform this week.

There have been at least 24 licensed only wagering operators launch in Australia in 2025, with eight of them emerging on the Punterstech platform.

Punterstech is one of several providers, along with competitors OpenBet, BetMakers, BetCloud and Generation Web, which offer end-to-end solutions for the smaller and/or fledgling bookmaker, lowering their barriers to entry.

A further five bookies have launched this year on Generation Web, three on BetMakers and two on BetCloud.

Betdragon.au is licensed in the Northern Territory and is focused on the Asian market within Australia.

It is owned by MintBet, which also operates four other brands, RipperBet, Bet Alpha, Bet Buzz and MintBet. All of those brands are on the Punterstech platform.

XBet has launched as a mobile app only and is owned by Carl Millett, who also owns Betchamps.

It is licensed in New South Wales by the Greyhound Welfare & Integrity Commission and regulated by Liquor & Gaming NSW.
