Supplementary entries confirmed for Chairman’s

A total of 11 supplementary entries have been added to next week’s Inglis Chairman’s Sale, taking the catalogue to 115 lots.

The supplementary entries are headed by this season’s Group 2 Reisling Stakes winner Chayan, dual Group-placed mare Vestas and two mares, Hazlebrook and Sizzlefly, in foal to Extreme Choice.

Additional entries include mares in foal to I Am Invincible, Harry Angel and Stay Inside, alongside Group performed mare Brigidine Gal and three-year-old Snitzel filly Southern Heiress.

They join a catalogue featuring Group 1 Goodwood Handicap winner Benedetta, triple Group 1 winner Provence, millionaire mare Arabian Summer and a broad group of stakes performers and well-related mares including Philia, Ahha Ahha, Appin Girl, Cashel Palace, Cosmonova, Dark Glitter, Eternal Flame, Good Banter, Infancy, In Flight, Jennilala, Just Feelin’ Lucky, Mare Of Mt Buller, Miss Icelandic, Snow In May, Spicy Martini, Terra Mater, The Black Cloud, The Playwright and Tiger Shark, as well as notable relations and producers including Sunshine In Capri and I Am Famous and the dams of multiple Group 1-winning juveniles.

The sale will be conducted at Riverside Stables on Thursday, May 7, from 4pm.

Inglis Bloodstock sales manager Harry Bailey said the catalogue represented a strong commercial offering.

“Chairman’s has a higher percentage of the commercially appealing mares that will go to market in 2026 than ever before,’’ Bailey said.

“Next Thursday night is going to be a lot of fun, there will be plenty of action both in and out of the sales ring and we can’t wait for what is hands down the most enjoyable sale anywhere in the world.’’
