NSW Racing Minister David Harris has preserved the status quo of the Racing NSW board by extending the terms of directors Michael Crismale and Garry Charny.

The Victorian government's initial projections on raising the Point Of Consumption Tax were for revenue of $462 million in the first year. The actual number will be $63 million less than that, causing headaches for a racing industry that now gets half of POCT proceeds.
