TBA’s Next Crop Committee takes shape

Thoroughbred Breeders Australia has appointed its 2026 Next Crop Committee, bringing together a national group of emerging leaders.

The committee’s focus for the year will include expanding national events, deepening member engagement and ensuring younger voices across breeding, sales, bloodstock, racing and training are represented in key industry conversations.

TBA CEO Andrew Hore‑Lacy said the committee continues to play a vital role in developing capability and leadership across the sector.

“The Next Crop Committee is about investing in people and ideas that will shape the future of our industry. This group represents a diverse cross‑section of the thoroughbred ecosystem and brings energy, insight and a strong commitment to collaboration,” he said.

The 2026 committee includes: Arvin Chadee (Darley Australia, Chair), Caitlin Smith (AgriFutures, Vice Chair), Bryce Bevan (Magic Millions), Oscar Engelbrecht (Alma Vale Thoroughbreds), Lance Forbes (Yarraman Park), Will Gardner (Inglis) and Ben Triandafillou (Clarke Bloodstock).

Chadee said the group is focused on harnessing the passion and fresh perspectives of the next generation.
