Coolmore’s King’s Legacy continues to make an impression, with his 10th winner of his first crop saluting at Rockhampton on Tuesday.
Next Legacy, trained by Aaron Beck, was an emphatic winner of her maiden over 1050 metres, improving at her fourth start, having been placed at her previous three tries.
She was a $1750 buy as a yearling from Inglis Digital and has now returned her owners over 10 times that amount in her two-year-old campaign.
She joins the Group 3 winner Steel Trap, stakes-placed Kujenga and Queen’s Evidence as first-crop winners for her sire. Seven of those winners have been in Australia, one in New Zealand and two in the Philippines.
King’s Legacy, a dual Group 1-winning son of champion stallion Redoute’s Choice, stands at $16,500.
