Three-quarter sister to Blue Diamond contender Big Sky hits Magic Millions market
A three‑quarter sister to unbeaten Blue Diamond contender Big Sky headlines the Magic Millions Digital Sale, with the 41‑lot catalogue now open for bidding.
The feature lot is Podcast (Lot 41), a twice‑winning mare closely related to Big Sky, who strengthened his position as a leading Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes chance with victory in last week’s G3 Chairman’s Stakes at Caulfield. The colt remains a clear second favourite and sits alongside stablemate Guest House at the top of the market.
Vendors represented in the sale include Archibald Racing, Baramul Stud, Bombora Downs, Jack Bruce Racing, Clarken Racing, Matthew Dale Racing, Darby Racing, Leneva Park, Lyndhurst Stud Farm, Morton Racing Stables, Munce Racing, Pearce Racing, and Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott.
Shares in two Archibald Racing juveniles are among the key offerings. First Base (Lot 26) carries a five per cent share in a Frankel colt and half‑brother to multiple Group 1 winner Nettoyer.
A 10 per cent share is available in Zousika (Lot 30), a Zoustar colt out of Group 2 winner and Group 1 placegetter Fasika. The catalogue also includes racehorses, race fillies, shares, two‑ and three‑year‑olds, unbroken stock, yearlings and broodmares, with more than half of all lots offered unreserved.
Bidding closes from 12pm (QLD) on Wednesday.
