In a week when a Coolmore graduate set the yearling sales world alight, the global breeding conglomerate has also played a role in one of the more extraordinary Group 1 wins on an Australian racetrack.

As the consignor of the $10 million daughter of Winx at the Australian Easter Yearling Sale, the headlines around the history-making auction put Coolmore’s resident stallion Pierro in the bloodstock spotlight.

But Pride Of Jenni’s breathtaking wire-to-wire victory in the $5 million Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Randwick also promises to go down as a racing moment that will never be forgotten.

And again it is cause for Coolmore celebrations for one of the lesser lights on a roster that includes superstar stallions such as So You Think, Justify, Fastnet Rock and Wootton Bassett.
