Wollombi wasted no time getting a win on the board for her new connections, producing a powerful burst of acceleration to claim the Listed Gai Waterhouse Classic at Ipswich.
Knocked down to the Panthalassa Syndicate for $500,000 at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Broodmare Sale last month, Wollombi debuted for new trainer Tony Gollan in the green and white of Yulong Investments with a blistering win in the 1350-metre feature.

The win tied off a successful day in the saddle for jockey Vlad Duric, who rode a treble.
Already a winner of the Group 3 Vanity Stakes from her three-year-old season, Wollombi is one of 21 individual stakes winners for Extreme Choice.
