Victorian stable employee accused of harassment
Racing Victoria stewards have charged registered stable employee Jarrod Olsen with three alleged breaches of the Australian Rules of Racing following an investigation into his conduct.
Two charges allege breaches of AR228(b), which prohibits misconduct, improper conduct or unseemly behaviour.
The first charge alleges Olsen sent harassing SMS messages to a registered stable employee between December 9, 2020 and February 16, 2021.
The second charge alleges Olsen used Facebook Messenger to send harassing messages to a registered stable employee between January 11 and March 31 this year.
A third charge alleges a breach of AR232(b), which relates to failing to comply with a direction issued by stewards.
Stewards allege Olsen failed to comply with a direction issued on April 2 when he did not comply with it on April 4.
The charges will be heard by the Victorian Racing Tribunal on a date to be fixed.
