WA mare Mindarie tops Inglis Digital Sale

Western Australia investor Rod Bavcevic secured the top lot in the latest Inglis Digital Sale, paying $355,000 for proven broodmare Mindarie.

The grey daughter of Safeguard has already produced two stakes winners Do I Feel Lucky and Maria Lucia, the winners of the past two editions of the Magic Millions 2YO Classic at Pinjarra.

The eight-year-old, whose brother Castle Road was also a stakes winner, was offered without a pregnancy by Mogumber Park and will stay in WA after Bavcevic won the battle for her via his Bavcon company.

In other highlight results, Cambridge Stud stepped up to pay $190,000 for stakes-winning mare Pivotal Ten, a daughter of Ten Sovereigns. The four-year-old is a winner of five races.

Also selling for $190,000 was Summer Success, a daughter of Savabeel offered in foal to Stay Inside. The unraced half-sister to Group 2 winner Promise Of Success is headed to Corumbene Stud.

Four other horses reached six figures in the sale, Tassort fillies Wollzelle ($115,000) and Palmanova ($105,000), two-year-old Sweet Leaf ($100,000) and broodmare Ms Catherine ($100,000).
