Siyouni share values French champion at AU$18 million
A two per cent share in multiple French champion sire Siyouni has valued the stallion at around AU$18 million.
The share, purchased by TCT Bloodstock cost 175,000 guineas in the Tattersalls Online December Sale, gave a valuation of 10.5 million euros for Siyoiuni, who stands at the Aga Khan Studs.
He will stand at €150,000 in 2026 having sired 13 Northern Hemisphere stakes winners this year, headed by G1 Poule d’Essai des Pouliches heroine Zarigana.
A breeding right in Palace Pier (lot 122) was purchased by Alex Elliott for 80,000 buienas while a breeding right in Sands Of Mali (lot 135) realised 74,000 guineas after initially failing to meet its reserve, with Roalso signing the ticket.
Tattersalls reported 55 lots sold from 127 offered (43%), generating 732,100 guineas. The average was 13,311gns and the median 5,500gns.
Online manager Katherine Sheridan said the December auction capped a year of “strong momentum” for the platform, citing increased vendor confidence and successful international collaborations.
