“The Inglis Chairman’s Sale is the most fun sale of the year, anywhere in the world and it provides an unparalleled experience for both vendors and buyers,’’ Hutch said.

He said the 2026 edition would offer “a higher proportion of quality breeding stock available to the Australasian market than ever before’’ and noted the sale’s record of producing significant results.

“The sale has been generating results of major significance, in terms of both the local and international bloodstock market, ever since,’’ he said.

Hutch referenced past graduates including the dams of Group 1 winners Autumn Glow, Imperatriz, Home Affairs, Apocalyptic, Caballus, She’s Extreme and In Italian.

“I have no doubt that in months and years to come, we’ll be talking about the 2026 Chairman’s Sale and the unbelievable results that breeders were able to achieve from being active participants in the auction,’’ he said.

Supplementary entries close at 5pm on April 24.
