MRC, Stow extend Memsie sponsorship

The Melbourne Racing Club (MRC) and Stow Australia have extended their partnership for a further two years, strengthening a relationship that will now enter its sixth year.

Under the renewed agreement, Stow Storage will continue as the naming rights partner of the Group 1 Stow Storage Memsie Stakes, one of Australia’s premier thoroughbred races and a key feature of the spring racing calendar. The extension marks the fourth consecutive year that the race will carry the Stow Storage name.

MRC Chief Executive Officer Tanya Fullarton said the renewal reflected the strong and enduring relationship between the two organisations.

“We’re delighted to extend our partnership with Stow Storage and continue a relationship that has grown strongly over the past six years,” Fullarton said.

“Long-term partnerships are incredibly important to the MRC, and Stow Storage has continued to embrace opportunities to engage with our members, racegoers and broader business community.

“The Memsie Stakes is one of the great races on the Australian racing calendar and an important marker of the spring ahead. We’re proud to have Stow Storage continue its association with the Group 1 race and look forward to building on our partnership over the next two years.”

Martin Bates, Sales Director at Stow Australia, said the company was pleased to continue its association with the club and one of the sport’s marquee events.

“Stow Australia is delighted to renew its partnership with the Melbourne Racing Club for a further two years,” Bates said.

“This partnership reflects strong synergies between Stow and the MRC, both in terms of shared customer demographics and a mutual commitment to innovation and high performance. We look forward to continuing to work closely with the MRC.”
